Throughout history, man has never been far from his horse. For centuries, domesticated horses have been raised to make our lives easier. Their sheer strength and character make them exceptional workers, from plowing fields to paddling ferries across the river. Kentucky’s history testifies to their essential role. We can only wonder how many crops have been sown, bridges built, or people transported across the countryside because of them.
